Vegan Air Fryer Donuts 3 Ways

Want to go nuts for “no nuts” donuts? (Too many puns? We agree.) If allergy-friendly donuts are on your mind, we’ve got you. Thanks to our Pancake & Waffle Mixes, you can make a variety of donut flavors in the comfort of your own home and they’ve never been so easy to make! (Thank you, air fryer!)

We’ve put together a few sweet and savory donut options that top our favorites list. Keep reading for our vegan take on Confetti, Everything Seasoning, and Blueberry donuts.

Confetti Donuts

Ingredients:

For the donuts

  • 1 ⅓ cups Partake Confetti Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 1 cup gluten-free crispy rice cereal
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable shortening
  • ½ cup non-dairy milk
  • Additional sprinkles (optional for topping)

For the glaze

  • 2 tbsp non-dairy milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine Partake Mix, cereal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Fold in shortening. Stir until the mixture is crumbly. Add milk and stir again.
  3. Roll mixture into 2-inch round donuts using your hands.
  4. Place donuts into the air fryer at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. At the 3 minute mark, open the air fryer basket and flip donuts.
  5. When donuts are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  6. To make the glaze, mix together dairy free milk, salt and melted vegan butter until combined. 
  7. Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until combined.
  8. Dip donuts into glaze and top with extra sprinkles if desired.
  9. Enjoy!

 

Everything Bagel Donuts

Ingredients:

  • 1 ⅓ cups Partake Classic Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 1 cup gluten-free crispy rice cereal
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable shortening
  • ½ cup non-dairy milk
  • Everything Bagel seasoning

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine Partake Mix, cereal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Fold in shortening. Stir until the mixture is crumbly. Add milk and stir again.
  3. If adding chocolate chips, stir those in now.
  4. Roll mixture into 2-inch round donuts using your hands.
  5. Sprinkle Everything Bagel seasoning on top of donuts and press lightly into dough so that the seasoning sticks.
  6. Place donuts into the air fryer at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. At the 3 minute mark, open the air fryer basket and flip donuts.
  7. When donuts are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer.
  8. Enjoy!

 

Blueberry Donuts

Ingredients:

For the donuts

  • 1 ⅓ cups Partake Classic Pancake & Waffle Mix
  • 1 cup gluten-free crispy rice cereal
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ cup vegetable shortening
  • ½ cup non-dairy milk
  • ¾ cup blueberries + additional for topping

For the glaze

  • 2 tbsp non-dairy milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine Partake Mix, cereal, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Fold in shortening. Stir until the mixture is crumbly. Add milk and stir again.
  3. Carefully stir in blueberries.
  4. Roll mixture into 2-inch round donuts using your hands.
  5. Place donuts into the air fryer at 375 degrees for 6 minutes. At the 3 minute mark, open the air fryer basket and flip donuts.
  6. When donuts are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer. Let cool for 10 minutes.
